It seems to be functioning correctly. It returns all the way without the belt on it and spins smooth.

I had the fan and shroud off the last time I changed my belt which helped me sight the fit.

Unbolt pulley. Pry out old seal. Grease inner swipe of new seal. Tap back in. Align and bolt down pulley.

Do you have a flow of oil coming from behind the crank pulley while the engine is running?

Step 1: buy new front crank seal and new serpentine belt.

Step 2: remove or cut off old serpentine belt.

Step 3: use an impact gun to remove crank bolt if room allows, otherwise the breaker bar against the frame and bump the starter trick will do.

Step 4: remove pulley. It may need some persuasion, mine slid right off.

Step 5: extract old seal. Seal picks are your friend or needle nose pliers and just mutilate it, just be careful not to score the crank shaft or the area where the seal seats.

Step 6: find a socket or similar diameter object and gently tap the new seal into place with a rubber mallet. Make sure it goes in equally the entire circumference of the seal and not cocked or it won't seal correctly and you may damage the new seal. A finger of grease around the outside edge will help.

Step 7: reassemble crank pulley and install new serpentine belt. The crank bolt is tq'd to 175ft/lbs iirc. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

You'll need a crank pulley holder or something similar to properly tq the bolt without turning the engine over.

Shouldn't take more than an hour and is easily accessible when the skid plate is removed.
