I want a new truck!! Little help please?

One more question to all the great members out there

I am applying for a home loan in a few weeks for my first house, my father in law thinks I should wait on the new truck because it may cause problems getting approved for the home loan. But if my monthly payment will be he same as it is now for the new truck will it really make a difference??

Wait until after you close escrow. This is without knowing any of your personal information but for the average home buyer, It's best to wait until you're in the house. I'm in the mortgage biz so feel free to PM me with any questions.
