I understand the point you're trying to make, and I would *love* for you to follow me offroad in your do-it-all Xrunner. Don't worry - there's no way in hell I'm going to put my truck on the 1/4 mile track with yours.

I am glad your truck can do everything you want it to do - that is important for some folks. For me: I daily drive a Matrix, use the truck when I need to do truck things, and a muscle car waits down the line for go-fast stupidity on pavement. I'm looking forward to it.

I prefer specialist vehicles that are very good in their respective departments. I don't like to water them down by trying to mix categories. If it suits you, fine for you. I stand by my previous abrasive rant.

konaborne are those really only 265s on your truck? they look much wider, is it just the backspacing of the wheels?

Don't worry, only reason I haven't branched out into 18 different rides for every catagory is because I'm not rich, and I have no place to park it all. Soon as I get out of my apartment I will be swiping a strip for a bike

yep, theyre "just" 265/75's. Looks wider in my sig pic because the entire tire is covered in cinder, not only the tread ( But people don't know that and it looks super cool :spy: )

VVVVV Is a better pic of how wide they actually are

This is what my truck looked like after about $450 in mods, most of that in purchasing the grillecraft inserts and color-matched surround:

    [IMG][IMG]

The tires and wheels I got free straight-swapping another guy for my stock stuff plus tube steps.

Off the top of my head, this pic shows:

    -grillecraft
    -color-keyed grille surround
    -black headlight mod
    -debadging
    -window tint
    -window visors
    -shorty antenna

I'd argue it's pretty damn clean for a truck with essentially no money put into it. Definitely a step up from the stock look.

I have soooooo wanted a crotch rocket on many occasions, but I work in health care and the trauma victims I've dealt with secondary to motorcycle accidents scare the shit out of me.

The really scary part is that it's never their fault...someone else always hit them.

I've already told my brother its his job to carry on the family name, and i'd had a Will since I was 18. So i'm prepared, and somehow, even though on one occassion I was actually the first to respond to a bike crash.. happened by right as it happened and had to call 911.. It's never bothered me for some reason

We're not even going to get into that shit. My position on 2WD trucks is that it should be illegal to manufacture them.

How does an X-runner go "off road"? I'm pretty sure my Accord has a greater approach clearance...

Actually, if you MUST race a truck, you want 4wd.

I keep reading all this shit about Super Werty in his dropped, built, S/C'd TRD OFFROAD (for fucks sake) at the strip launching in 4hi with the rear diff locked and apparently being very competitive.

    Traction FTW?
