The first picture shows that I have taped back up all the wires together... similar to when we started. I have also used a new zip tie to replace the one we cut earlier that holds the wires to the small black relay box. The next pictures is just showing the same thing as the first picture but from a slightly different angle. The third picture is right before I snapped back on the bottom cover for this relay box. The last picture is of everything back together.

I took a whole week off work and installed all of the sound deadening material. I used mainly Dynmat Xtreme and some Sinless Vibe sound deadening materials to put 3 to 4 layers on the whole inside roof, the whole back wall, the whole floor and half way up the front firewall. To my estimates, that is about 200 plus square feet of sound deadening material and I have not done any of the doors, yet. To my estimate this is approximately 108 pounds. I didn't weigh all of it before installing it. I have been collecting boxes of this sound deadening material for the last 2 years or so. I am not sure what this has cost me in materials but I would venture to guess north of $1400. I can tell you that installing this much sound deadening material by yourself is a lot of work... 7 straight days and this is why I am not doing my doors for awhile... plus I ran out of sound deadening material and need to buy more.

    Sir,
Now I’m not trying to be a smart @$$ but you only need 75 to 80% coverage of sound mat and I would NEVER install the heavy tar like sound deadening on the roof / ceiling!! You should use the high density foam on the roof / ceiling. You are just adding unnecessary weight and believe it or not it’s not helping your performance and or fuel economy. You will get your best results from doing the doors but again no more than 75% is all that’s needed.
Again my apologies I’m not trying to be a smart @$$. I love your X even if you ruined it with an Automatic‼️
It’s my absolute favorite color. It’s just so clean looking. Black and Fire Engine Red are beautiful too but just so difficult to keep clean and beautiful. I actually called Toyota in Texas several times to see if they would build one in white. I told them I even pay an extra $1,000 for the white and a 50% cash down on a non refundable payment. I would pay a 100% in advance if I had it! But I was told that they couldn’t.

Can you link the thread? I've been searching but couldn't find anything specifically to what you've done.

I don't have a thread per say to link you to because I did this all on my own. I saw a few people with speakers in their back doors here on TW and wanted that too. I never saw a how-to thread... just pictures of people having speakers in their back access cab doors. In my past, I sold car stereo equipment for about 12 years... so I guess I used my previous experience to create those back door panels myself.

Nice! Well that def explains the keen attention to detail. I opted to go with a 6 1/2" Morel mid-woofer to compliment my Morel Tempo Ultra components in the front. Those pesky headliner 'speakers' are atrocious.
