Don't know how those damn guys handle the little buzzboxes with loud mufflers. I shortly had an Eagle Talon with a fart can and gutted cat. Was obnoxious to daily drive...

Run a flex pipe from the cats straight into your cab. That should be loud enough.

Get a old big chainsaw, two stroke, engine. Mount that thing in the bed and rig it to rev up as the truck accelerates. That would be wild!

Been researching all last night and this a.m. Decided on and just ordered a Carven Exhaust. 13% off with free shipping. $478 to my door.

    https://carvenexhaust.com/collectio...-cat-back-ceramic-coated-black-5-5-single-tip

If I'm going to be a hoodlum again, I may as well get the best sounding exhaust. This one seems to be one with the lowest growl at idle and cruising. Can be obnoxious when I like.

Will be nice to shed that Buick sized OEM muffler. I'll hold on to it though... just in case.

you know I've a Flowmaster Outlaw system on my 2nd gen, I think its pretty harsh, I may swap the muffler off, but and open box with scratches and a big dent in the last inch of the pipe was worth the +$200 discount

so my stock exhaust has issues well an issue. The "Buick sized OEM muffler" has a hole in it. there is a national shortage of the OEM exhaust. My state inspection is coming due. so i was thinking of a after market exhaust system. I don't want a loud exhaust because I like to fly under the radar so to speak any ideas

Just take the entire exhaust assembly off. When I was putting my Borla on I started it up for fun once I got my rusty POS MBRP off. It sounded absolutely absurd lol

I put one of these, or at least one just like it, on my second gen and it was as quiet as the stock muffler. I did have to bend one of the hangers a little to get the fit just right but that was not a big deal.

The live in boyfriend of 1 of the kids next door has a little Nissan. It has a decal on the windshield with a stupid saying, an orange tow hook in the front, street tires and a ridiculous exhaust. I call it the clown car. It fits the car and the driver.

That's going to drone and be raspy AF. Have fun.

TRD Catback or Borla S type are the quietest aftermarket systems imo. I have the TRD.

When I upgraded my Harley to sound like a Harley, I told the folks at Fuel Moto I wanted zero popping when I let off the throttle. Spent $600 on a tuner, and had to go down a size in the baffles of my new mufflers. Sounds purrrrfect.

Now I hear cars go buy that people paid to make pop. World is a fucked up place.

    I am a first generation owner with a 3RZ-FE.

I have the full LC Engineering exhaust: street headers, catalytic converter (Magnaflow), and cat-back.

Coupling that exhaust system with a 1" throttle body spacer and K&N FIPK cold air intake results in a throaty, deep exhaust sound.

The sound is not obnoxious so it might not sound the way you want. Make fun of me if you want but I would characterize the sound as handsome.

If you want truly obnoxious then delete your catalytic converter and muffler.
