I'd like to upgrade my suspension on my base line 5 lug 4cyl tacoma. I am looking for ideas on what others have done. Sway bars, shocks, lowering, leveling, etc. I dont want a slammed truck, just want better look and handling

You should post in the suspension section but some things you can do is replace the stock Tokico junk shocks with Bilstein 5100. You can get an aftermarket rear sway bar for about $200. An alignment to max out the caster and get the camber where it needs to be. Maybe poly-urethane bushing kits.
