these people, complaining about their "faulty" trucks should go put their rants where they belong, at a Toyota dealership......

now, if you have issues with your truck and want to address them, then this is the right place to be, otherwise....

well you know what to do....

He should go buy a Ridgeline. It'd obviously suit his needs better.

All joking aside, if you don't like it, sell it. I've had mine for 3 years, haven't had a problem out of it. I haven't accelerated out of control and died. Almost 70K miles on my '05 and it's still actin like it's new. Wendy's could unknowingly not cook a burger good enough and we could get sick and die! We shouldn't eat out anymore! For that matter, we could not cook somethin well enough at home and get sick and die. Maybe we shouldn't eat at all. Let's take the food back to the store and ask for our money back.

    Seriously? Give me a break.

Even in their worst quality period my Toyota has less problems than my 1989 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer ever had.

My two favorite Chevrolet Service Manager's replies were for fixing warranty issues:

    1. Drive it until it breaks and then we will fix it.
    2. We cannot fix it here, you need to go to another dealership.

Go ahead and trade it at a BIG 3 dealer... they will be happy to stick one in your rectum for it and sell you their POS. Then when this blows over (if they still have it that long) they will still sell yours for a ridiculous used Tacoma high $$ price.

At least the Toyota CEO apologized and said they will make it right.

I have never seen another car company say that.

what the hell is wrong with some of you people, honestly? I have owned many a truck and this is my first toyota ever...and I have to say the build quality of materials and fit and finish is awesome. Its a f*cking tacoma, the most reliable, highest resale, toughest mid size built. If you dont like your damn truck go buy a ford focus, or chevy aveo...

toyota is getting such a bad wrap lately from one mistake that they did not even manufacture themselves...i find it rather peculiar that the two crapiest automakes Chevy and Dodge have had nothing but positive feedback from the media...I wonder if the U.S. government owned 75% of toyota if this problem would have ever made it to the news.

Toyota is suffering from the American Media syndrome.

We build it up to tear it down.
