So I have a 08 Prerunner. My interior lacked the comfort and convenience of most luxury or other manufacture trucks. So after a little "Remodeling" I love my interior. Here's what I've done so far. I upgraded my seats to black leather Clazzio seat covers. I must say, the best $465.00 I've ever spent. Fits like a glove. A little difficult to install, if you have a good day to spend and a little muscle, just do it, you will not regret it!. I've incorporated my IPad as my entertainment center. With it bluetoothed to my double din (in dash stereo) I can access the internet, XM, email, apps, etc etc. I spent some time making the area look as factory as possible. I didn't want to just throw the iPad in there and look janky. Some time, fitment, trim, and you got Lexus quality technology. Then for my on board diagnostics, I'm choosing a OBD scan plug that fits right into the output terminal under steering wheel, and it uses WiFi to send to my Android that uses a $5.00 app to show your gauges. This will tell you everything about the operation of your engine, MPG, trip meter, oil temp, RPM, sensors , etc, etc. I've added some LED lights, to show important places like CUP HOLDERS at night. I'm going to start working on illuminating the window switches, that will be fun, can't wait. The seats were $465.00 EBay. Talk to Charles directly from Clazzio on eBay. That's his price. IPad ...I had that. Chrome trim pack, $7.99 auto zone. If you want to paint interior pieces , you can go with plast-dip , I used black. OBD scan $17.00 EBay. App to send data to and show your gauges..$5.00. And just time and patience. The LED lighting was like $12.00 auto zone. Really, nothing too expensive.

$465 for front and rear double cab? I may say no to WetOkole and go leather!

Why not just put the iPad in place of the radio?

Yea, check out these before you buy WetOkole. I looked into those and after reading the reviews on the Clazzio I went with those. After you get them on, its like OEM ....nobody can tell they are seat covers. I can't believe the product is so good for the price. Now the perferated center is leather and the smooth outer portion is PVC. Just so you know. Check out their website. When you are ready to pull the trigger, Charles can cut $50.00 off the eBay price. I'm so satisfied with the purchase, the seats are awesome!!

You can do that! But then you need the device to drive the audio. But I was thinking the same. But I like this because I don't have to leave the iPad in there, I can take it out. I like having the double din because of the sound is great. Plus, the DVD player ..CD player, etc.

That's reading my sensors from the OBD port. So its my old Android phone I put in the flip down and installed an app to read the OBD data from my computer. So now I just flip it down and see my mileage and oil temp and all the goodies you want to know

Why not use the torque app on your iPad and cut the need for one of the screens?

Damn. Scratch that then. I think a tablet with torque in the head unit spot would be legit. It works with audio too.

You can do that! I found it is available for apple and droid. The reason I didn't want to run it to the iPad is you pretty much have to dedicate a device to the OBD, because you would need to accept the WiFi from it. I'm using the WiFi from my cell phone. The iPad doesn't have dedicated cell service. So I use my new other droid as a hot spot. So I wanted just a dedicated device for the OBD.

I guess I also like the idea of full time gauges from the OBD , instead of switching back and fourth. But yea, you can run it on the iPad. It looked sweet!
