Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
You are correct. I have run those before. For offroad I like the LTB better but SSR is better if you plan to use them on street.

I looked it up so that I could provide the info I should have. Super swamper STS is the terrible one I was intending to point out.

My buddy has SSR's in a 38 15.50. They don't impress me. I'll be going to to 16/40 LTB's on my other truck after my 37s.

Any used mud tire will talk to you going down the road. Pick one you like, drive for a while, then bingo. Loud tires.

Yeah the benefit of the slightly changed pattern and the radial part of the SSR is they drive and wear slightly better on the street.

I would never intentionally buy swampers to drive on the street again, and my LTB's are better offroad than my SSR's or TSL's were. They take a hell of a beating offroad, but they sure wear fast on the street! I take my play truck down the road every once in awhile just to do it. It almost feels like you can watch the tires wear away while driving down the street.
