We'll be 29 years married in a couple of weeks. I got a good one. Looks good, likes to cook and isn't materialistic.

I over heard a conversation she was having with a couple of close friends at a cookout a few years back. They were all talking Valentines Day gifts and expectations....flowers, jewelry, etc. My wife said, "Oh hell no. He better not blow money on that kind of crap. All he needs to do is take me out for a nice dinner, buy me a box of chocolates and take me home and f**k me".

Unfortunately, no. It had a 200 cu straight six with a three speed manual transmission and no air conditioning. She ended up giving it to her dad two years after we got married who eventually sold it. We replaced it with a 1983 Olds Cutluss Supreme.

Get her a ring but a lower end one after a few years you’ll probably have to buy another since she may outgrow or lose it..this has been my dilemma.

In my experience, I've never had as much enjoyment driving anything or riding my Harley as I've had in the bedroom and other parts of the house. Fucking in the back seat or bed of a truck, aint as enjoyable as in the house.

That's just me thou. From reading mass threads on here I'm sure there are a few that sit out in their garage and toss off while looking at their mall crawler.

I was mostly kidding, but it happens in a lot of cases, and is pretty common now adays. In my own situation, I got the ring and kept my truck. So some times you get lucky. Honestly I hope your marriage will last for an eternity . However your thinking of wanting to spend X amount of dollars on your truck compared to X amount on a ring might not be the best thing to do. But I’m just some jackass on the internet and don’t know you, your miss’s or you’re relationship. So take everything I said, sarcastically or not, with a grain of salt.
