    Nobody needs to be driving that fast on a public road … speed limits are there for safety not optional . If u think u need to be driving at those speeds get a race car and go to the track .

    Speed limiters are usually because some part isn't rated to exceed that speed. Frequently, it's the factory tires.

    I'm typing this as one who lost a family member from someone else's poor judgement, someone who's hauled combustibles and heavy haul with semis, and driven a school bus full of dozens of others precious kids though my class 8 truck driving was not recent. I know this humbling reality. Public roadways are shared use thus shared responsibility so everyone needs to keep that in mind. It is no fun to get a call that your loved one has been mashed up dead by a jerk and have to deal with all that follows.

    The 4th gen Tacomas handle really well for what they are but not cars, and high risk driving should be done in an appropriate scenario.
