So I’m almost done blacking out the interior and exterior but now I’m thinking I might like chrome. Not crazy like the limited, but maybe wheels, bumpers, and grille. Also might do some 20” wheels and thin Pirelli tires.

    Whats your thoughts?

Poll is up so vote away!

Black is played out. I like chrome accents. I only installed a TRD skid plate incase I run over a cardboard box at the mall

I'm not sure about 20" wheels

If you do 20" wheels in chrome, I'm gonna have to put you on the ignore lists. :D

Black and chrome will get you home.

I grew up with cars from the 70s and Harley’s so I love chrome trim.

I’m about finished with the blackout thing too. I’ve been checking into drop spindles for my Tacoma. Found some sweet 26” chrome wheels that would tuck into the fenders.

Maybe weight the back down to get the Carolina sag? That would be dope.

I’m a fan of classy chrome.

Honestly, as long as anything that’s done is tastefully balanced - whether it’s chroming up or blacking out - I’ll probably like it. I’ve seen some blackouts that are hideous and chromesplosions that are glorious. The Mexican Chrome Mafia around here do some work that, while not my personal preference, is amazing in extent and execution.

TLDR version is do whatever the fuck you like. I put vinyl all over my truck so I am no position to judge anyone.

Yep I'm really tired of black out too. I wanted new wheels for the Tundra and this is what I got.

Yeah, I could chrome plate the hitch too. I just don’t want to get too tacky. People would want to try and steal stuff off of it.

I remember doing the chrome plates along the bottom of cars and trucks back in the day too.
