Just like the title says. Show off your snorkel being needed because you wheel deep and hard AF.

You wont find it here, no one is going to take their truck deep enough that the factory airbox would even get flooded. The amount of other things that would be destroyed before you hit the factory airbox would likely kill the truck first.

False. Snorkels are primarily fine dust protection not water protection.

    But nice try.

I crossed Afton Canyon with mine last Xmas day at the Mohave trail. Was not expecting it to be that freaking deep, was just below the bull bar, which sits at 48” or so, the front of the truck was floating in parts of the video, hence why it is bopping up and down. Last few times I did the crossing it was barely over my wheels. That was a bit shocking when it happened.

Edit. so far zero electrical problems, granted I do have an abs sensor that is acting up somewhere, so maybe I do have issues from it.

Before I had my snorkel I had to cross Afton when it was about that deep as well, I rode the right side of it to keep my stock intake higher up. Hit a tree root or rock or something under the water and nearly flopped over, scared the shit out of me. Snorkel went on a few months later. Though I find it works best to keep the air filter cleaner of dust and keeps the IAT down.

It's was scary as hell, crossed it so many times before and it was maybe 32-34". Oddly zero water intrusion into the truck. This is where the water was lapping on the truck as the front was floating.

Completely agree. That's why I got the snorkel. Was exploring all over my old stomping grounds in the desert.

On a side note is there a phone line or fibre optic line in the middle of that crossing. I always see what looks like the orange casing from a drill push for phone line float up after I cross.

I would show pics of the skewp in action, but I can't post pics of panties dropping on here.

Off topic but what bug guard is that, and does it require anything actually touching the top of the hood? (Debating removing my current one because I hate the idea of the little brackets and tape touching the top of hood and mussin the paint up eventually.
