Of 35's on a 3" lift!! :D I sold my old wheels and tires and I'm getting some used motometals from stillfly199, but it seems like all the used tires in my area are either shitty stock 265/65/17 or maybe 265/70/17's, or 35's. I dont want the small tires any more and I've been thinking of trying to stuff 35's for a while so I figure that this is my chance to try it and not be out too much(the used tires are $200 mounted with about 40% tread). I cant afford new tires now and dont want to run new tires all summer on dry pavement, so this is why im going this route. I know the body mount will have to be chopped and re-boxed(I've got the tools and skill to do this easy) and I'll probably have to use some bump stops.

Anyways... I want to see some pics and a rough idea(FROM THOSE WHO HAVE 35'S ON A 3") what it took. I dont care to hear all the negatives that they'll never fit, or that I'm going to kill my tranny running them with stock gears by guys that have never tried to fit them.;) If I can get them to fit well, then gears and lockers will be in the future with the new tires, this is just a trial for me.

KCTRD in Arizona has 35s on a 3". He had to cut alot of the fender trim and had the cab-mount chop done.

I have 295s, equivalent of 33.5. And I rub too.

Yeah, I've thought of maybe 295/70/17s or 305/70/17's when I do get a new set. I just wanted to see how many guys have tried 35's and how they look. Thanks for the pics.

For any newbs that end up crossing this thread... don't forget about Upper Control Arms (UCAs). If you try the for the "go big or go home" look with tires, you will pay the price as your tires will rub on the stock UCA. There are many threads on this forum regarding UCAs from Total Chaos, Icon, Camburg, etc.

x2...But I think alot of rubbing issues come from the wheels not being backspaced enough...Like in my case...I was gonna throw 285s on but they rubbed the UCAs because my stock wheels weren't backspaced enough...I've got Light Racing UCAs
