I used that heavy duty cutter/scissors.. Don't know what it's called but I had one laying here.. It literally cuts it like paper.. Took less than a minute

Sorry didn't take a pic of it. Basically it's like the "Y" and just trim a little off each of the 3 legs (make them skinnier not shorter) so you can rotate the projector more and get a better 180degree cut off

Okayy so u used Metal Snips to trim it.
So did you mount it on your truck to test the alignment before sealing it?

PS: What paint did u use?

    I didn't even cook them.

I got the larger pieces of the original sealant out, then laid in a bead of the TRS glue.

I headed to the oven and "somebody" flipped out.... I put them back together and just applied steady force from spring and bar clamps.
Snugged up the bar clamps every day or so and after a week, every thing was seated nicely.
I was in no rush... my work schedule didn't allow me to have the truck torn apart while I was on call.

A good heat gun is also an option if the significant other is yelling at you not to use the oven :D

Mine didn't want me to fuck up the oven.

Luckily, she was out of town the weekend before when I opened them up, because she would have blamed me.....

2 weeks later the oven took a shit. Oven died first but the broiler still worked, then the broiler stopped working.

And tell her that the cardboard won't burn because you are only pre-heating, and the oven is off when the cardboard and lights are in it.

The D2S and Mini-H1 are about as simple as it gets. The most complicated part is routing the harness and mounting the ballasts.

If you go for the FX-R, it might be worth it to buy a set from Anthony... he's only adding like $100 for his labor and he will do the BHLM for you. Only issue is you have a '13 and there are no aftermarket housings available yet, so your options are to pay someone locally and park the truck for the weekend, or pay Toyota $500 for the pair and have the new set modded.
