Hey everybody. I'm a Taco newb.

I borrowed an RV and truck and took the family to Wyoming. Time of our lives! And as much as I love my BMW M, it's time to become a man...a truck man that is. I need to be able to haul and tow sh*t and until I can afford an Earth Roamer, well the Tacoma is the next best thing.

But I have a question first, can I fit a baby seat in the back of an access cab? Or should I be hunting for a double cab?

Thanks for all the info and great posts, very helpful for this newbie!

I had the same journey and never looked back. I made the switch from BMW to Tacoma in October.

I have an access cab and I love the look but if you're having kids, I would recommend the double. You want them to be comfortable so they don't complain the whole time you are driving.

If you can afford a double cab then I would get the double cab as your Family might be growing and you will wish you had the more room . And Welcome to TW

There are guys who fit car seats in ACs but if you have the luxury of shopping, DC all the way. Access Cab fills up quick!

No kids, only me an my girlfriend. But... if you've got a family, go for a double cab. Seriously.
    And welcome!

Glad you were able to visit our amazing state  I've spent a good 6 or so years there but just recently transplanted to Colorado. Whereabouts did you venture to if you don't mind me asking?

On the double cab/access cab debate..personally I'd go for the double cab if you plan to haul family around and whatnot. I think they look nice too.

I would say double cab with car seats. I run two cars seats and it's pretty tight.
