Thats for sure! I've had no muffler for half a year, no hint of being pulled over yet. Of course this is Alabama hahaha

It drives fine. There maybe a little less power in the acceleration end, but nothing major.

that whole back pressure thing is bs, i read about it before. it was originally thought that a vehicle needs back pressure blah blah blah. they dont. it runs just fine, just like day one

Idiot statement. That's for a diesel... Your valves are gonna be junk very quickly.

back pressure doesnt apply if you have forced induction, like most diesels, but does apply for naturally aspirated engines, like ours.

Wow, so "blah blah blah" is your evidence to disprove that theory.. intriguing!

Just like the poster said above, it's only a matter of time.

I did a side exit exhaust with a muffler on my previous Tacoma and I can't tell you how disappointing it was having to adjust my valves twice in the next year.

    Good luck...

    p.s. - Sounds like crap.

Jesus christ people. Get off your soapbox. He said it was just temporary in his first post since hes going to get "true duals". Quit lecturing the dude on what can go bad and that it sounds like shit. He never claimed it sounded awesome. Said it didn't sound half-bad.

I did read the post, actually.

It's just when you started saying how backpressure is something that is not needed on N/A motors and it's "bs" I sat there and said "Okay, not going to let that slide".

I'd rather not have someone new to Tacomas come into this thread later on and read misinformation and take it to be truth.

Sorry, I just so happen to call BS when I see it. Don't get your panties in a bunch.

im not gettin shit in a bunch kid, if u "actually" did read my post i said it was temporary, i already have my wicked flow installed. i drove like that for maybe 2 weeks, so i HIGHLY doubt it did any damage at all. anyways, im not gonna sit here and argue on the internet, were all friends here anyways
