Op, I like coming to this forum to enjoy looking at what someone else has done, some of the colors with different decals and such, I have no intention to raise my truck. I have a grill guard because I believe it's necessary as are my steps. I don't get bent out of shape by what others have and I don't. life's to short for that stuff. I like stuff I think is functional for my lifestyle. I would like to try a tune for poor/ inconsistent stop and go driving but I would like to have support also, and I don't think anyone locally does them and I would like a little better ride on washboard road's like my 04 TRD had, so shocks and/or a leaf spring change. about it. Enjoy your truck, it's what you could do with your resources.
If I wanted I could have gotten a pro, however , I can't wrap my head around paying more for a car than I paid for my house. Because my truck would never appreciate to 30000.00

I think part of car culture is to not flex on other builds but to appreciate and share info on the builds. I wouldn’t be the least bit phased on a heavily modded truck vs my own. I personally mod to make my car/truck my own and will do little custom things to stand out VS the rich heavily modded guy who probably doesn’t even know how to install a lightbulb on the car.

I always make it a point to park my SR steel wheel Tacoma next to the most radically modified Tacoma I can possibly find when I’m, you know, at the mall.

With 10yr. returns of 20%. That would turn $10K into $62K in 10 years. I wouldn't worry about the mileage. :D

Mods? We don't need no stinking mods.
    I park next-next to it.

Put my 21 silver OR right next to a new silver Sport last week. Should've been in a Toyota sales brochure.

Bit off topic but I've noticed there is no Tacoma 'wave' to speak of. Coming from the motorcycle, Corvette & Jeep worlds, many more people would throw out a wave in those communities. Probably a good thing since there a gazillion Tacomas out there, and you'd be waving all day long.

I find most people that comment approach at gas stations. I've had a couple people yell 'nice build' in traffic, most recently in SD this past July 4th.

If I run into someone with a modded taco, I usually try to engage them by complimenting their rig and striking up a conversation.

To be fair, it’s on the spendier side of things. If you like returns like this, check out some of Virtus’s other funds.

Also keep in mind the skewing of the markets due to last years performance across the board. That said, if you like to make money off of having money, they tend to do pretty well across the board.

All starting to make sense now. Seems some are probably better off out in the middle of nowhere by themselves with their maxtrax & RTT

Well, to start with, I’m 5’6”, but beyond that, I tried 5 different car seats to find one that would fit behind my seat while I was still comfortable in the front. The car seat I’m using has a headrest that goes upward more so than the others that tend to angle out and upward. This one just clears my headrest while the others would bump into it.

Enough to stay fit. Not enough to see the cool in that term, though.
