    Uh.... maybe you should go back to the first part of the thread... I was the one that broke down the estimate, and pointed out the gravy added to the estimate. it is high for sure but, not astronomical

    as I quoted, the shop wrote it high because, they dont need the work and dont "really" want to do it. your results may vary. Ski

    I just took another look at it. If you want to get it done why not ask them to do it without ore and post scans and without R&I headlamps? That should get it to $850.

    Body shops are slammed right now. In Seattle area you're looking at a 2-4 month wait for anything. If they've got 30 cars on the schedule that are all 5,000$ plus jobs, why would they walk away from that stuff to paint your bumper for less than a grand? It's totally a "go away" price.

    understand although they may be painted, they will not be an exact match due to variant colors, within colors. and these are not factory oem toyota parts. they are aftermarket. fit and finish may be sub par. buyer, installer, and owner beware! Ski

    That estimate is actually trash.
    They missed a bunch of stuff, so it should be more than that.
