Samurai really impressed me at windrock this past weekend, she walked every obstacle except for the last one of the day. I got too confident and tried this obstacle without a spotter and ended up snapping a rear u joint on a rock

Haven’t been able to do much to the Sami for awhile now as I have a lot of life things going on right now. Here’s a pic of her at my new place.

Samurai did really well for how it’s built at the moment. I’m really looking forward to getting the yota axles in with new steering and suspension.

It’s a damn shame they don’t sell the Jimny here anymore.

    Great place!

They do, but you'll pay a hefty import tax. Can get em in Texas for a paltry $48,000+

If you are close to Alabama this weekend there is a big annual ride (Down South Zikin) at Hawk Pride this weekend. Mostly Samurais and a few Toyotas and even a few Jeep. Usually a big turn out. Most of the guys going are usually on here

Man that sounds like a good time. Little busy this weekend with the holiday, but I'll definitely need to make it to one of these at some point.

Annual ride is every year in May but we go there and Wheeling In The Country often.

Samurai was down for a few months mostly because of laziness. The nuts loosed up on the studs on the rear axle and destroyed the drum brake and all the studs. This happened while I was flat towing the samurai, and some how the wheel did not fall off after a 5 hour
    drive home.

As a result of this, flat towing my samurai was not something I wanted to do again. So I decided to look for a trailer. I got lucky and got a great deal on one when a guy was selling his tractor and just needed to get rid of his trailer he hauled it with. Here's the trailer when I picked it up.

Here it is after I rattled canned the whole thing.

    Subbed!

Had a samurai while living in New Zealand for a while, most fun vehicle I’ve ever known. Nothing like what you’re doing with yours, but I never found a trail she couldn’t handle with ease.

Regret not importing it back to the states. One day hope to own another.

I took my little Samurai to EJS 3 separate times and had a blast each time except the 2 nd to last time when I burned out the clutch since I didn't have gears at the time.
They were built cheaply, but we're surprisingly capable off road. I had lockers front and rear in my stock housings and that thing could really perform off road, both mud and rocks.

There aren't too many decent ones around any more, as they are definitely suspectable to rust in certain environments.
