One month ago, I traded in my 2008 BMW 328i for a cheap new 2015 Prerunner 4 cyl that I plan on keeping as long as I live. I may buy another fun car in a few years, but I want to have this Tacoma as my "old truck" for the next 20 years.

This Tacoma is my first ever Toyota vehicle and I look forward to experiencing low maintenance cost and many years of dependable service. I got a very simple truck... Nothing to brag about, but I'm looking at dependability.... Just to get me back and forth to work (and using the bed to haul my wife's 1000s of shoes/clothes to Goodwill) the next 20+ years.

The wife isn't as thrilled as me, but when I get her a fancy car in a few years, she may forgive me.

This is my first ever post.... One reason I bought the Tacoma is because of this forum - the support shown among everyone here is impressive.

    Regards

Good luck, but I hope to see my tacoma rust away long before I'm gone. All I'm wanting is a good 15-20yrs out of it.

Greetings! I'm aiming to keep my Taco for 10-15 years and maybe even longer!

I have motorcycles and the taco for now. When the Taco's paid off I'll take half of the truck payment I have and just stash it into an account. Then by the time the truck is dead I have money for another one.
