If I had not seen it in person!

We went to the local WalMart yesterday, and I headed straight to the automotive department. To my amazement, this is what I found:

I had read on this forum how a lot of you folks found Toyota OEM oil filters at your local WalMart. I live out in the middle of nowhere, in a rural farming community. Never would I have thought I could actually get OEM Toyota filters at Wallyworld.
I'm gonna purchase mine at the dealer (about 40 miles away) next time I am up that way (they have them for about $5.00). However, it it nice to know they have OEM filter for both my Tacoma and Tundra!

My local Walmart has the YZZD3 filters for around that price but the Toyota dealer near me sells them for like $3.50 so i always just stock up at the dealer.

A little of this and a little of that.
The Walmarts around here carry GM, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, and Hyundai/Kia OEM oil filters along with their SuperTech, Fram, and Mobil1 filters.

If you watch eBay you can find dealers selling boxes of filters at great discounts. The most recent one I bought was quite a while ago and I got 11 filters for ~$40 shipped! And it shipped from an actual dealer. I think I have 1 or 2 left from that, so I'll have to start looking again soon.

Our WalMart carries (in addition to all the aftermarket brands) Motorcraft. The only OEM filters I found were Toyota.
    That is interesting.

I looked this morning and was actually able to find some dealer listings. That is nice to know.
With that said, WalMart went up on oil. They just started carrying the shop pacs (12 quart boxes). I'm gonna start buying my oil in those. They are over a dollar per quart cheaper compared to the 5 quart jug.
Just for the heck of it, I checked out the one quart bottles of Mobil 1. Almost $10!!!
