Glad I could help! If you want any other photos of it or any details just let me know. Besides one small leak I easily sealed myself on the roof rack track on top it's been a great topper. Can't complain.

Couple photos from thrashing it today in the Pacific Northwest. Big changes heading it's way soon...rear swing out from Pelfrybilt will be shipping out in a few days as well as 4x innovations sliders showing up shortly. Should all be on within a few weeks. Also looking into maybe getting a prinsu access cab rack to match the rear topper rack.

Haha definitely not Spokane. Took the trip out to Goldmyer hot springs near Snoqualmie. 9 miles of extraordinarily horrendous pothole road and 5 more miles of decently fun loose big rock stuff. Well worth the brain rattling though when you get up there.

A lot of stuff has happened since I last updated...been lazy.

Got the Pelfrybilt rear swingout bumper in after months of waiting haha worth the wait. Only complaint I have is that the swingout mount could be a bit more stout, it tends to flex around a bit. To their credit they did say they would be sending out gussets to weld on and strengthen the mount. Looking forward to that. Sorry for the crap photos, I'll be taking some better ones within the week.

Also got some 4x Innovations sliders on right afterwards. Bad photo of them but oh well. More will come.

Then the latest project that took a few days to get done was my storage/sleeping platform. More work is needed on it for sure, needs to be cleaned up and I want to carpet it to match the rest of the back. The center section sits on rails and can be easily pulled out allowing the two wheel well boxes to also easily be pulled out so the whole system is removable. I didn't really have any idea what I was doing with all this cabinetry stuff so it's pretty amateur hour but it turned out alright all things considered. Very overbuilt so it shouldn't be breaking anytime soon. All the top doors are accessible from the windoors so there isn't even a need to open the rear gate. Was much more complicated to design and build than I anticipated though haha good learning process. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask. Total cost was about 125 bucks for materials.

Perfect fit for the first aid kit. Whoo!

do you feel like the swingout is a little shaky when swung out? I just picked up a used pelfrey with the swingout, and when I have it opened, i can tap on the gate, and I think its swaying just a little bit. Im not sure if its the welds where the pivot is, or the rear suspension that I am feeling

*edit* I just read your description. Glad Im not the only one that feels like its not as sturdy as it could be

Yea the metal has some significant bend to it especially when it's in the open position. You could contact them and ask for some of the gussets they're going to be making. Easy weld job, might fix the issue.

I think I'm just going to get some memory foam and egg crate combined and cut to the right size for it. Car camping is car camping, might as well make it super comfortable haha

Memory foam mattress is in. Thinking I may want to add a little more cushion underneath but we'll see after I spend a night or two on it.

Finally installed and wired up my Rigid SRQ reverse lights into my Pelfeybilt bumper. These things are SO much better than the stock reverse lights. Bonus, if someone is tailgating me I can turn them on and blind people.

Hard to see but below is looking at my rear view mirror with stock reverse lights.

I wonder if it would be viable to build the bed frame to allow a 255 spare to sit underneath?

I have the swing out so I don't have to worry about that but I think it's totally viable. You can always just build the side boxes a little higher to make sure it clears but ya, definitely an option.

I've been loving them for about 15,000 miles now at least. Might do a different size next time but I love the tire itself. So quiet.

Front bumper is on or so I went out and found a little road down to the sound here in Washington. Probably the last photos before the bumper goes on.

What do you dislike about the 255's? What size would you have went with? I was just about to order a set of 255's for my truck.

    Love the truck, btw.

I noticed that with such big sidewalls the tires have a little sidewall flex and there's a little delay in steering inputs with them. Don't know if a different size would fix that. Honestly I think I want to try a different size just to try something different. I really have zero complaints about the 255's. They're a great tire.
