I am putting back the manifold on my friends 98 2.7 4wd tacoma, and i bought a new IAC and installed it idiot moment coming..... I forgot to take pictures and i cannot find where to connect the 2 smaller hoses to. I know the big one goes to the top of the manifold but where do the other 2 slots go to?

I compared the old part to the new one and they are exactly alike, so i dont think i got the wrong part.

    thanks guys.

You might be talking about the coolant hoses? If you have an EGR then I think there should be 3 coolant hoses. Coolant flows to the EGR then the IAC (or the other way around).

Hmm the original one had the big hose that goes to the top of the manifold, and one little hose outlet.
The new one has the big hose to manifold and 2 smaller ones. I think it may have been the wrong part but i will have to pull the new one again to check.
Sigh I just got it all back together tonight.

take a pic of the hoses you had. yes there are the 2 coolant hoses, but right along where the throttle connects to the plenum is a hose bracket with 2 hoses, are those the ones youre talking about?
