Well as the title suggests, I need a party cooler in the 70-100qt range that can fit under the stock tonneau cover. Anyone got any ideas?

The Igloo IMX 70 QT will fit. Costco has them for almost half off.

I have this cooler and it has just enough space. My Tacoma has the OEM bed mat and the Truxedo Sentry CT cover.

I had this same problem. The Tacoma box depth isn’t very deep. I ended up going with a fiberglass topper for this and other reasons. But to answer the question, to get by, I had to use multiple smaller coolers, as everything I found at the time was too tall. If I removed the feet, my bed mat, and put the coolers in one precise location (where the cover bars weren’t located, I could get my smaller Grizzlycoolers in.

I have a 52-quart RTIC that fits perfectly under the cover. Two of those would get you to 100.

I kept the lifetime 77 quart cooler from walmart under my diamondback. highly recommend. I have a 96 quart fridge now and there are times that I miss that cooler.

Just for reference. There's maybe 1/8" room at the top, not quite enough to fit two side by side longways at the tailgate. I can fit it behind my driver's seat with the front facing the door so I can get in easily. I can get into it if I flip the first section of the cover up. If you used two you would have some different configurations and you might not need a huge 100qt every time you go out anyway. Just an option.

    Canyon Coolers out of Flagstaff.
    Expensive but worth it.

My 55-qt with a block of ice lasted 16 days in Arizona Summer Heat during a trip to YellowStone.
When we got home there was still a chunk of it left.

I've since upgraded to a Dometic but if I ever need more, the Dometic and that Canyon would get me through
    a few nuclear bombs.

I was about to suggest that same cooler. Fits perfectly under the cover. I however had the opposite experience. I couldn't get "good ice" to last more than two days, even with precooling the day prior. I have upgraded to a camp fridge now too though. The days of soggy food and cold wet hands are over for me, ha.

So I bought the Igloo from Costco for $149.99.
Without the bed mat it fits absolutely perfect. Maybe 1/8th inch clearance if that?
With the bed mat it's a little tight. I can close the tonneau but here is some pressure on the tonneau cover. If you are going long distance and are hoping for a tight tonneau seal for water and dust then you need to remove the bed mat as the pressure leaves a small gap between the tonneau and the top of the box. I'm happy with the fit anyway. I can't comment on how long ice will stay solid but for my needs it's perfect. I'll post some photos below when I figure out how to do it
