Agreed. I was looking to get a slide for my VL45 also.

 

It was 20% Sunday and part of yesterday then they dropped it to 12% which you can get everyday from youtube.

The last thing I heard was that they were short on inventory due to international shipping challenges. @SHARPECAT was able to get them to do one recently anyway, but it was only for a couple of days. He mostly posts over on IH8Mud and I missed his post so I wasn't able to share it over here before it ended.

SharpeCat has a good relationship with the guy at Iceco, whereas I'm still trying to build the relationship. So in short: "I don't know."

I just picked up my 43L rotomolded version. It's perfect for my needs! I plugged it into the 120v plug in the back and it gets cold! pretty sweet. Seems that my 120v keeps turning off. I push the button - the light comes on - and after a few minutes the ligth goes off - need to check into that...

 

Did you mean the JP42 model? For the plug in the back, did you mean the 100w/400w outlet in the bed? There is no 12v outlet unless if you modified the outlet in your bed. With that said, the 100w/400w outlet only runs in 100w while the car is moving.

And yes, the AC outlet is odd. Maybe I need to reread the owners manual.

I push the button - the light comes on - and then it goes off. But, it's not consistent - sometimes it goes out and otther times seems ok. And, if I'm parked - it generally stays on.

But the cooler is nice as hell.

 

I remember had similar issues when I had my dometic as well, the light comes on/off so I need to check it a few times while driving.

 

It seems like if I start it up while in park (400w) and then go on my merry way that it stays on. It might help also that the outside temp has dropped a bit. I'll keep experimenting with it but I'm definitely getting my 12v plug in set up asap.

Short answer: no.

I sent them an email last week asking if inventory had caught up and asked if there was interest in setting something up. I know some things are leveling out, but a lot of companies are still struggling to get their shipments to a port. No idea how the Delta variant of COVID is/has/will impact shipping and keeping inventory. That said, I'm trying, but I know that there are challenges outside of their control.

 

I'm not a Tacoma guy but I literally just registered to comment that the 15% code on page one still works. Found it on a google search, applied it to cart lastnight, and it took $79 off the $529 JP40. I wasn't aware that at some times there are even better codes. Thought a $79 discount was pretty awesome so I ordered it.
