Hey Brent. Yes, Meatman and I made the switch panels in our trucks. I was made out of fiber board, and it was cut to fit in inside of the radio trim piece. The switches are from OTRATTW.com and the fit perfect in the pocket area. I did cut the back of the pocket and notched the bottom for the wires.

Finished up what little bit of work I needed to the shell and pick it back on.

Got approved for the rear leaf tsb today. Parts come in Tuesday. As soon as that gets done then I'm ready to get at it.

So what tracks and towers are you running on the shell that are holding the basket? If you have any part numbers that would be greatly appreciated!!

The track are from prolineracks.com! They're a univ 50" tracks. I'm not running tower bc we made custom low profile lower that welded onto the bottom of the basket. I really wanted a low profile basket, I hated that the others I could buy were 6-7 1/2" tall. Mine is just over 5 1/2.

It doesn't bolt up to anything. It's wedge between the pocket and radio dash trim. The panel was cut to fit the shape of the backside of the trim. It's very tight and looks better than having to bolts sticking out.

If I were you I'd cut the rack down even more. I think you could get that thing to 3" tall and it would look better and fit in your garage. I really don't think you need that deep of a basket to keep things contained. as you know my roofrack and bedracks are all flat with no lips and work just fine.

Totally up to you, I'm just a guy that thinks the lower profile the better.

I might just have to do that Adam. 3 1/2 inches would've been perfect. But I'll run this one this year and see how it goes. Thanks for the ideal man, now you've got me rethinking it!!!

NP. Would be easy to just cut the vertical peices down a little and reweld the top hoop.

So I've been looking at the CBI rear tire carriers, looks sweet but I believe I could built one of those for alot cheaper and maybe stronger. Maybe I'll start on it in a few dsys

Maybe cutting the basket in half tomorrow, not sure yet, box rocket put a few new ideals in my head. I started the plans for the rear tire carrier, and I'm about to order all the nights for the basket, plus I broke one of my Hellas on the bumper. Dum move!! But looks like I'm going to be busy the next couple of weeks. I'm helping Meatman install his sliders tomorrow and were doing a few tricks to his basket.
