Icon 1.5” Add a Leaf

Hi all -

So I have a a few questions about the icon add a leaf for the rear.

I installed them today and realized that I had removed the plastic end separator pads like a dumb ass. For whatever reason I thought they were there for shipping reasons and didn’t realize they were part of the add a leaf until after I installed them…

1. How crucial are these to the suspension, what do they do exactly? The Internet tells me they are there to reduce noise

2. Does anyone have a source where I can find replacement pads?

3. Am I good to drive on them for a week while I wait for them to arrive?

Honestly they are just there for noise, I suspect you could email icon to see if you could get a replacement but its likely a big hassle.

I'd "leaf" it and call it a day. Loads of leaf springs out there are missing pads with no issues. Lots of add-a-leaf kits dont even have the pads. I'd say you're good.
