    Hello everyone!

Been a while since I've last been on here... But the time has come to lift my 2014 Tacoma!! :D Researching till my head explodes and came to the following conclusion... Icon 2.5 Remote Reservoir Extended Travel Coil Overs up front, 2.0 Remote Reservoir in the rear, with All-Pro Expo leafs and flip kit... Now being in Northern Alberta, Uni-Ball UCA aren't my favourable choice... So I'm wondering if anyone may know where I could get a a good price on either Camburg or the Light Racing UCA's in Canada? And my second question is, would I need the Icon VS 2.0 2.5"-3.5" lift shocks, or would the 0-2.5" shock suffice with All-Pro Expos? If anyone else has any other input on this idea I'd be glad to hear so!

    Thanks

No no I know the difference between a uni-ball connection and ball joint lol.. I've just only found Camburg and Lighg Racing are the only ones to offer OEM style ball joints for UCA's vs all others being uni-ball..

The dealer where I'm getting my kit from has LR UCA's in stock but I haven't heard all that great about them... Guess I'll just ask them to bring me in the Camburgs..

a lot better is a TW term for, "I read it so, it must be true".

LR are damn good UCA's. Many of us run them. There are guys that are at the dunes and guys like me on the trail every chance they can without any issue.
Not sure why people that have not run them and without exp think they are not good
    UCA's.
I have yet to read consistent LR failure or any more failure than of the others out there.
In 2009ish there was a bushing issue and they resolved it with no questions and have sold 1000's of pairs since.
The designs between your choices are completely different and yes you will get less dt with the LR but is the .5 inch of dt worth the $ to you? My guess is that you will not ever notice with the set up.
The LR ball is beefy and is pretty nice being able to adjust caster and camber with the LR upper arm gaining a bit more height up front if needed.
I have run 2 sets on 2 different well built Tacoma's at a moderately challenging off road weekly pace with no issue whatsoever.

*Someone better call BradyT and let him know his LR's are inferior before he spends another day jumping his truck in the dunes.

No I did have them on my 2010 and they failed, bushings failed and had a crack in the arm. So I am speaking from experience, and I didn't even wheel with them. The issues I am sure have been fixed with the new Specride bushings. But I'll still go with the Camburg set.

I ended up going with a similar setup on my 06' double cab. Went Icon ext. travel w/ reservoirs and 2.0 Icon ext. travel with reservoirs in the rear.

So far so good on my Camburg UCA's....they have been money well spent. Have put approx. 200 miles on them since install. No issues whatsoever.

I didn't want to deal with keeping UNI-ball cleaned up all the time....especially on the roads I drive sometimes.

Still waiting on Icon extended travel....Wheelers custom orders them for guys running 3" leaf packs such as All Pro, Deaver, etc...
