Installed my icon add a leaf today. The brake line clip isn’t even close, especially at full droop (image is on ground not droop). Is the answer to cut it off? Saw some on here say they did, just want to see if any issues.

Go to the hardware store and get lawn mower springs. Attach the spring to the bolt and the brake line. This holds it up while allowing additional flex in the line.

I installed the Headstrong aal's and came across the same problem. I took out the overload leafs and added a 1/2" shim. I ended up cutting the guide bracket off. I drilled through the bottom of the forward rebound clip and tapped it to fit the original guide bolt. I used a cheap stainless hose mounting clip for the cable. Took me about 15-20 minutes each side. I have about 2500 miles on it now and haven't had any issues. One of these days I'll build a custom bracket out of thicker steel and round over the edges where it contacts the cable. Similar to the stock bracket, but better.

I fab'd my own bracket. Without the bracket my brake line rubbed on the leafs. Been running w/ my custom-hack-job-bracket utilizing the OEM bracket for over 3 years now with Icon AAL and now / Icon RXTs
