Be sure to take them to get charged before the install. :) They are sometimes shipped without nitrogen.....

Call around to some off road shops, or cycle shops. Most likely, the cycle shops will have the Nitrogen and equipment to fill/check them for ya. :)

Man, so lucky. I ended up buying the FJ set for $590 from the same guy. I talked to a rep at Icon and he said they would bolt on the same, but the valving is slightly different and therefore the ride would be a bit different (I imagine a bit stiffer). However, they can re-valve them for $30 each. I figure still a good price for a great product.

Success..With some help,(tools&an extra pair of hands) I got them in.
Minor problems were..Passenger side tie rod free spinning.Inside the nut is a set screw.Use an allen wrench. Torque the top nuts,Wrench was too tall to get the back one on the driver side. That's it.:)
The front end sits a tad bit higher.:D I'll get some measurements later.

Did you get a spanner wrench? I forgot about that. Just got them in the mail today. Also, did you check the nitrogren, results?

Will setting these at 0" give you a softer ride than setting them at 3"?

yea it will, cause when u compress the spring for more lift the spring rate goes up. also ive herd 2-2.5" lift is the ideal setting for them.

Is it that much of a differece. After I regear Im gonna redo my suspension and Im wondering if getting some spindles is worth it or if I should just preload the springs

My friend is running his Icons at 2.5" and it rides amazing. If u did the spindles were u still going to run your 5100s.

Yea if u have the money run icons and spindles. also the spindles give your truck a little wider stance which looks sweet.
