Finishing up my lift and wondering which UCA to go with. I don't want Uni-balls or LR's adjustable BJ so I've narrowed it down to these few.

Lift is 6112 and will be set at 4th or 5th notch

    Thanks.

Don't know how true it is but I've read from a couple different posts that the delta joint is just a regular ball joint but I have no clue. Out of the ones you listed I'd go with camburg.

...and then you have the people who claim the delta joint is just a uniball

I don't think anybody can really say much about the delta joint yet. Besides what they read on the internet.

Camburg just cause of there tried and true racing platform. But I do like the ease of the replacement on the JBA ball joint

From what I gather, the Delta is a sealed Uni-Ball. So a hybrid Ball Joint/Uni-Ball I guess. Seems to be like best of both worlds.... but, no hard evidence yet.

Camburg was my first choice until I saw the release of the Delta then I started thinking that direction for a "little" more travel and hopefully longer longevity then the Moog Joint in the Camburg Arm.

I don't have the HD version, but I run JBA and haven't had an issue. My truck goes on the beach and I didn't want a uniball design due to sand and salt.

EDIT: plus they are powdercoated Red so that's an extra 10HP

Yea I'm not sure that the "HD" model is needed... but whatever.

I forgot about this brand honestly until I saw a guy local to me with them and he loved his. They do get more articulation out of their BJ then Camburg... hmmm

They have a good price point as well, at least for the non HD version. The standards are much more beefier than the stock UCAs... Of course.

I read about some tire rub issues from the JBA. Anybody have input on them with 265/75/16 on stock OffRoad wheels?

I believe JBA recommends at least 4.5" of backspacing for their UCAs. The OEM off-road wheels are 5.25BS so you may encounter some rub.

I have SCS SR8s 17in with 4.3BS and haven't had an issue (but let me run out to the truck and double check)

    EDIT

No signs of rubbing with my 265/70r17s

I'm interested to see how much gap you have. I have a set sitting in the shop that I'm not sure if I want to replace my LR's with.

Not sure if this is what you wanted. The wheel is turned ever so slightly to the passenger side. I do think people who report the rubbing issue are having it occur at close to or full lock.

I ended up with the Camburg BJ arms for my Tacoma. They did “ok” for me. Functionality wise they did their job. After having them for about 80k miles I feel the paint/powdercoating could have been more durable, the cap for the joint almost could be better thought out. Living in the north east the cap gives trouble coming off and that in turn messes up the paint and causes rust all around the cap area.

I greased the cap and inside the BJ cup area to help keep out any moisture every time.

I recently sold my Tacoma and bought a Tundra. I just put JBA arms on it last week. Initial impressions are I think they’re super solid pieces. The BJ definitely seems “better” or “nicer” then the Moog joint the Camburg arms come with. The JBA arms have grooves in the bushings allowing you to grease the bushings without loosening the UCA pivot bolt which is nice, no tools other then a grease gun needed.

    I hope this helps!

@Chase8059 How did they hold up? Are you glad you went with standard and not HD?

@SoJersey That does help, thank you. I def like the easier maintenance when greasing. I wonder if the Icons are that way as well?
It seems like the JBA’s & Icons have the least complaints about squeaking and highest satisfaction for folks whose truck is also their daily driver.

Loooove my JBA HD's. Was able to get 4 degrees caster without issues. But the standard high caster version is more than beefy enough to support the 6112 setup you're planning.

Chose JBA due to caster and being a sealed ball joint. Better flex angles and more easily to source a GM 1ton bj if something catastrophic happens. Also should not make any noise like a uniball.

I have ran up to a 305/70/16 and didn't rub at all with the JBAs but I just recently swapped over to the Icon Delta's a month or so ago.
