    Once I got it out of the UCA I used a rental ball joint tool from oreilys with their 4x4 adapter kit. On the BJ stud i placed a cut down 7/8 deep socket. Worked like a charm after 3 hours of struggling with it before i got this system figured out

    Think I'm going to go with a angle grinder on the uca bolt lol seems The easiest. Was the ball joint in the spindle really that challenging with the rental tool??? Im 2wd btw. Imma hit the drawing board in the AM.

    not once i got the stupid adapter set that i wasn't aware of until later. also had to get creative with the 7/8 socket, the parts that came with the press wouldn't fit the stud of the BJ properly

    I have run these Gorilla nuts for years with aftermarket wheels as they have an extended thread section.They get more threads on the studs especially with thicker hubbed aftermarket alloy wheels.More expensive but you get what you pay for,they are solid and with durable paint.

    Are you guys running these with steel wheels? Pretty sure those will not work stock alloys or steel wheels. They are designed for aftermarket allow wheels.

    I think Digiratus is right. They are probably too much shank for steel wheels and made more for thicker hubbed alloys.The acorns he linked or for spline drive and steel wheels ,these.....

    UPDATE! Control arms in! Are they supposed to move when torqued to reccomenrdrd ft lbs? Torqued them and they're on there pretty solid. Kind of hard to move up and down by hand

    As long as they don't have reseviors it doesn't really matter what side goes on which. But in the directions it says the way you can tell is the Nitrogen fill Valve should be faced 30 degrees towards the front of the truck. Mine came w/ a Driver's side sticker and passenger side sticker on the top of where it mounts to the top of the shock tower. I asked Icon if it really matters and they said no other that the nitrogen fill valve should face forward. 1st pic is driver's side and 2nd is passenger

    Don't torque them yet. Wait until the wheels are on and the weight of the truck is on the ground. Torque them at ride height.

    You did grease up the bushings real good before assembling right?

    Yes greased them good! Everything installed truck handles fuckin good... just need to put on new wheels ant tires and get an alignment.... but come to find out I'm leaking coolant everywhere . So have to find the culprit of that now -_-

    Seems to be the seal on the tank of the radiator...I'll get pics tommorrow it's coming from the top under the tabs and around there of the tank.. is the rubber seals on the tank fixable or am I looking at a new radiator
