Probly a new one. I would be sure it's not the cap tho, or the hose. Other than that, it may be more possible you have a crack in the upper tank. That's more common. It's hard to see.. I have yet to hear of them leaking from the seal. Not sure how that works tho if that's even possible. Either way, if its not the cap, or even hose, Probly a new rad.

Looking good. What radiator are you going with? I need a new one for my 98 I think - current one has 100K and it seems to be leaking around where you said yours was.

New radiator, in the old days the top and bottom tanks of the radiator were metal, and those you could remove and replace the big seal in between the tanks and the core. Not a viable option anymore. You can get a Denso on Amazon for a hundred bucks. Not sure of other online stores prices.

For a first gen? If so, just use the automatic radiator and leave the caps on the lines of the radiator that would otherwise be connected with the transmission lines.

Yes. I didn't know if there would be fitment issues between the two setups. Thank you.

Don't use these. I tried them on Procomp's and they will not work without modding them or the wheels (which is a bad idea). They require at least .62 for the shank to slide through the wheel and you only have .585 inside the holes in your wheels. Take out a caliper and measure, you will see what I am talking about. Use the ones @Digiratus said, I use those too, they work fine as long as you are not trying to run any spacers at all.

In the daily thread the OP was advised to use these: [IMG]

Personally, I think this was bad advice and believe these VVV are the correct ones. It is what I use on my steelies.

@rj95lss nailed it. The splined type are for the smaller stud holes found in alloy wheels. They will be too small for the stud holes on the steelies.

Steelies use the Acorn style with the 60 degree chamfer.

If you don't believe me, call Wheelers and ask them which of the 2 types work with your wheels.
