I contacted Wheelers (Email over the weekend so give it a day or two), no response as of yet. Feel free to contact any vendors you like maybe if we cast a big enough net, someone will bite. The DSM group buy is certainly not a bad deal either. Just an option.

We will have to wait till a vendor supports this and gives us details. To early in the game to guess right now.

The last one through Metaltech was 20% off msrp. Since Icon has since limited the vendors on the price they can sell their products at I'm not sure exactly what we will see. I would like to see 10-15%.

You aren't going to see 25 to 35% off an Icon product unless you find it in the BST section lol

^I am pretty sure you have to special order them. I had to contact Icon before before I ordered my CO's because they were a "special" CO that Icon made.

I keep hitting myself for not asking Icon for a discount on my CO's. I could have saved a lot of money.:(

Ok folks got word back from Wheelers, here is the reply.

"It looks like most everyone wants something different, which isn't usually the way GB's work. The profit margin changes between the coilovers, rear shocks, and Add-a-leaf kits, so I can't give a solid discount number. I also can't advertise one due to their new MAP policy, so whichever way we end up working this, all prices will have to stay off the open board and remain through email, PM, or a phone call. A general group buy thread, working up everyone's name and what they need is OK.

If you could get everyone on the GB to list exactly what they need next to their name, we can get a better idea of what the majority wants. If we get enough orders, I will break them down to the Coilovers, Rear shocks, and AAL's and come back with a figure. To be honest, I doubt I can do much for the rear stuff, they have a very tight margin, but if we get enough I will see what I can workup.

And lastly, the timeframe. We obviously don't want this to take any longer than you guys do, but it will take time for ICON to work up a batch of parts, and certain product is already on backorder. This will be above and beyond their standard production, everyone needs to understand you can't get an awesome price, and instant delivery. ;-)..

Other than that, I have already talked to Icon and they are ready to go. So see what you can work up and we'll go from there. I'll give you the week to get everyone together. Hopefully they will get on it, seems like there are some ambitious people on there. "

So there you have it. Rakso, since you are the original poster maybe you could post this up in the original thread.

What we need now is a list. So my suggestion is that everyone just PM me directly with what you want, I will formulate the list and send it to wheelers for pricing. If we try and repost the list on here I think it will get messy and turn into a pile of garbage.

So go on ICON's site or wheelers, list the part numbers you want and the quantity and PM me with the info. The sooner we get this done the sooner we will know what the pricing will be.

This isnt a comittment to buy as of yet but keep in mind if you list something you want and then decide you dont like the price and back out that may be burning someone else. Go on wheelers, look at the prices, if they are way out of your league right now, then you are not a canidate for this group buy. Its not going to be 50% off so be realistic.

My suggestion would be that you are ready to buy at the current prices and the discount will just be an added treat.

    Rob
