Sorry if it sounded like I was making a snide comment, not intentional.

I worked for Fastenal for a few years. I usually used their website to find products because it was way better than the in-house system or catalog.

Just go stainless if weather is an issue. I replaced the bolts on faux bead locks on my wife's Wrangler with stainless Allen button-head cap screws.

If the op is seriously crying about a metric bolt on a wheel.... I can’t wait to see the dumpster fire that happens when he tries to pull the skid plates off his metric truck......

No rust, less rotating mass, way cheaper. I call that a win win

So, first...they replied ONLY after I put them on blast here! I had been calling and e mailing for over a week. If "Bigtrees" has a problem with that, meh, I want what I want. You don't have to like it, sorry you find yourself having to settle in life!!! Anyway, after I was able to FINALLY get an answer, I sourced a black oxide bolt to confirm the size - the attached pic is similar to what I expect the end result to be. I've ordered the correct size in Torx bolts, which are going to come in black oxide. I know that will not handle the weather, so...I happen to be sending an AR upper receiver for Cerakote and have been given the opportunity to have the bolts cerakoted. So, that should take care of the crappy looking hex bolt issue with a solid looking alternative capable of handling the elements!!!!
