I'm not pointing at you specifically, it's more of a blanket statement.

WOW this caught my attention! Really man this is expected for ICON LT coils? Damn glad I got the blue! Minor modification is one thing, but to encourage this amount for LT application? Its like they are too proud to re-design or something...

    Not mine, google fu:
    0004960_59860-total-chaos-lower-control-arm-cam-tab-gussets[1].jpg

These are with the TC reinforcements, but stock should look the same (just less beefy). Notice how the alignment cam is snugged up against the tabs on either side which will keep the truck from falling out of alignment off road or otherwise hitting a bump. Yours has a noticeable gap on the outer edge and from your picture looks like both sides are flattened out. This makes alignment more difficult. Not a huge deal, but your tires could wear uneven or your numbers could be off if you care about that sort of thing.
For the record, not talking shit, just pointing something out that you may have not noticed. I do that- The people I wheel with hate me for it.

These are def a great upgrade! I got them on mine so they can take a little more punishment as well.

Maybe it was the angle of the picture (of the passenger's side), my mistake. Either way something to check after every offroad trip. The front cam tabs are more susceptible to flattening because that's where the energy gets transferred first. If your tabs are still straight, you could avoid paying for the TC gussets and just run a bead of weld behind the stockers and it should be good and strong.

Great picture to show what most likely happened.

So, as the rear suspension cycles up the shock has to pivot since it's mounted stationary to the frame mount and to a moving object (axle). So picture the lower power of the shock moving to the left and up as the suspension moves, the fitting hits the shock mount it self and puts pressure on it in the loosening direction. That's all it takes. It's what happened on mine when I had these shocks. I had to move the reservoir a bit to make sure it had a bit of room so it would touch and loosen itself.

    Make sense?
