An Icon guy is on this site pretty often. I wonder why he hasn't spoken up in this thread at all.

Good to know regarding the AAL bolt and gas tank strap, i'll be sure to check for clearance and shave down the bolt before I install them.

I tried that, the bolt is to long and I will hit the gas tank. Unless take the whole leaf and flip the bolt. Don't really have time for that job.

I agree that king isn't perfect, as things happen with any product. What really stands out to me is from the few instances that people have had failures with king, it seems that king is genuinely interested in what happened. They also seem pretty reasonable regardless of your application if you are just a weekend warrior in terms of what they can do to make it right. As others have said, the race scene is different for part expectations as well the terrain some have to compete on which is understandable that you can't warranty everything. I have seen similar with fox in this mentality from what I have read, yet icon seems to keep distinguishing themselves with this hit or miss bottom line with their warranty. To me that shows they would rather hide from their own product instead of entertain a solution. With that being said, I do feel some of the folks seem more approachable based off some testimonials at icon depending on the luck of the draw.

I really hope for the OP that icon will entertain his request, as to just simply say it's the installers fault just comes off not very supportive of their customers.

@Mikeygomez this explains why your rear shocks were leaking. Shady shit from Icon. Was gonna buy a complete suspension upgrade for my 4Runner. Glad I saw this.

I call BS. Another improper install or somebody screwed with the fittings, causing the leak. Then they want shit fixed for free.

That escalated quickly. Didn't read the whole thread, 15 pages in 2 days.

Same problem here. I called in, guy who answered the phone said they'd cover the rebuild "just this one time" I loosened the top nut so the top of it and the screw are nearly flush. I've wheeled relatively hard since then and haven't had an issue.
