Ah, OK, Yeah I assumed they made shocks but was lazy and didn't care enough to google it, I also came to the conclusion that the guy bought shocks from a company that didn't know what RRs were for, kinda have to wonder the quality of the shocks if they don't understand design for something they are supposed to specialize in. Or, they didn't make RR shocks and were trying to convince potential customers that they didn't need them and their non-RR shocks were superior to RR designs. If its the latter, it would certainly be ironic that the guy was railing against buying into company advertising BS succumbed to it without knowing it.

I've got Tein "comfort sport" and the adjusters don't do crap. Full hard and full soft are all the same.

I never fucked with mine because #pretendballer. The EDFC was released about this time, but I think back then it was like $350 and I don't remember if my coils were compatible or not..

I just wanted low and was too cheap for bags. I had Goldline coils first, then Koni Yellows with good coils was all the rage.. skipped that for TEIN, tried out the Ksport as that was the trendy shit at the time.. then got tired of the car and sold it to Toyota dealer locally for what I owed plus $50, for dinner. I regret it on a regular basis.

Mind you.. this wasn't on a performance car, when the first gen xBs came out I had a boner for them, so I ordered a bunch of shit a month before I test drove one (and bought it) in 2006, then joined a big car club and went full retard. 1.5L 4 banger (4LYFE) was fun to drive in the twisties when it didn't feel like a slug, and got good enough mileage that I could romp on it all day long and wind it out and still get 28 MPG.

No track days for that car, was just a fun DD/go kart/toy.

It's funny to watch you truck guys talk about racing suspension like you have a clue. Keep on buying whatever cost the most because that must mean it is the best, right?

I had Tein on stock shocks on my Lexus IS 300
Then Bilstein hd on Eibach pro coils.
Lastly I has Stance Gr+ Adjustable Coilovers 12k front 10k back spring rate.
I had those super stiff ride and uncomfortable

Not for suspension. Hks doesnt make their own shocks. In the 90s when fast n furious came out they barely even made suspension mostly exhaust and engine mods

Just to reiterate, the top hat design has in fact changed. You know nothing.
Just found my old ones that Icon sent back to me in a zip lock along with other retired parts from my rebuild. New top hats are slightly different and stronger.
