Does anyone have experience with Icon rear long travel? I haven't found any options on the internet. The best thing I have found is their 2.0 17" travel shocks, which is what i wanted to use when I planned on doing chevy 63s, but I dont think that setup will match my total chaos front end. Looking to either do SUA kit to get 17+" travel, or not opposed to coilovers and 4 link with big trailing arms.

If you got the coin, I would encourage 4 link. What SUA are you looking at? I believe Icon makes bypasses to some degree.

Giant and DMZ are the two ive done research on. I would think that Icon would build shocks to fit this application or coilovers for a 4 link capable of 17+" of travel, but I havent found any yet. Whenever my finances get into 4 link territory I may have to give them a call to see what theyll do. They make 3.0 bypasses for raptors that look like what I want, I just need them 6-8" longer lol.

Honestly, the only guy I know who might be familiar with Icon at this level is @tubbsisland. I know SDHQ also sells Icon and can likely point you in the right direction for LT stuff, unfortunately I only use king.

It wouldve been so much easier to use Kings from the beginning, but unfortunately I decided to be different and try to build a fully built truck on Icons, and its hard because their marketing is piss poor.

I can understand the challenge as they are very heavily involved in the MT market, but don't advertise much for LT apps. As long as you like the valving of the Icons then I would try to get them for the rear as the stock valving will make your set up crazy if you were to mix progressive and digressive for the long haul.

My front end rides really smooth, and needs bypasses to really complete it (which finding those is another challenge within its self). But I'm not necessarily set on 4 link or sua for the rear, kinda whatever I can get icon to build me a shock to fit.

Are you saying mixing valving would be crazy (bad) or crazy (good) lol?

Well if you cant get any guidance in regards to some dedicated Icons for the rear, you could always hit up DSM and have them valve some 16 inch kings to be digressive as they offer that for free if you request it on purchase. I just think that your rear would be really soft if you have digressive valving up front and progressive in the rear.

If it were me, I would consider what it would cost to get custom Icons over just revalving kings.

My only thing is does Icon offer a triple bypass? I have seen doubles. Glad to see you join the King team though brother.

I'm not ready to buy anything like that yet, unless you want to take a huge loss on them

thats an Icon RXT Raptor rear, pulls like 15 or 16" as you see it with 3.0 triples in the stock location.

I had seen the raptor bypasses before, and after seeing @tubbsisland truck I'm confident they already have designs out there close to what I want. @tubbsisland what is your front setup?

Sam nailed it. My truck is all icon, and to my knowledge the only full kill built truck running all icon that isn't a professional race truck. My existing rear coilovers and bypasses are both custom built for me, and I have 3.0s in the garage that are also custom built.
