Running stage 3 RXT and it’s been awesome! (Free shipping from Wheelers). Only complaint is minor squeak so I will address that later on. I looked at Deavers but those weren’t available until February, and also another $1k

So since i’m on option 2, i removed that one leaf and added the extra leaf that the pack came with. i’m basically askinh where that extra leaf that i pulled out of the pack goes in order for it to be on option 3. maybe that makes more sense? haha

I’ve got a set on order and still waiting but I’ve been sagging with my smart cap(185 lbs) on. If I’m fully loaded with camping gear and i will be in the 500 lbs range. Should I go with stage 2 or 3? I’m camping about once a month and this is my daily as well. What’s your guys thoughts?

The extra leaf goes in between the 2nd & 3rd spring. Check out Icon dynamics website for the pdf installation file.

Just wondering what your center of hub to fender is with the stage 1?

Since RXTs ship option 1 and you're option 2, I'll assume that you removed the #3 leaf and replaced it with the extra leaf. To go option 3, you would add the leaf you removed (OG #3) and make it the #4 leaf. Remember, long end goes towards the front...

Pic for reference...Red: OG #2, Green: Extra leaf, Purple: OG #3

About 200lb between a storage case with gear, bed mat, and Softopper.

I realize I'm in a 3rd gen thread but I thought I'd give you my opinion on these springs. I bought my RXT springs from @TailHook a couple weeks ago. He had them on option 3, and I moved to option 2. Here are the pros and cons I noticed immediately on 10 mile local shake down run.

    Pros
    1. Axle wrap on acceleration is gone.
    2. The railroad crossing that I bottomed out on and felt very unsettling is now just a a small bump in the road.
    3. The ride on bumps in the road are firmer, but in a good way. The stock springs were so soft I'd go through the travel right into the bump stops on virtually every bump more than 2 inches.
    4. I went from 23" to 24.5" hub to fender, and now have 1.5" in rake.

    Cons
    1. There is a slight vibration at 55 to 75 mph that I noticed, but I would bet that anybody riding with me wouldn't notice over the roar and vibes of my M/T tires.
    2. I now want longer shocks, extended brake lines, and a ubolt flip kit.
    3. I feel my 5100s in the front need to be replaced to get the front to be equal in performance to the rear.

Did you ever get a set in and decide one a particular stage? I've got a smartcap as well, and with bike rack, drawers, etc etc, I estimate I'll be around 500 lbs daily.
