@71tattooguy thanks for this. I just got the RXT leaf pack and figuring out what stage to go with. I’m also ordering 6112/5160 as well. What setting on your 6112? 2” max setting?

So would you say you are at 23" in height from center of hub to fender in front and 25" in the rear?

And to confirm you are on the highest setting on the 6112 and Stage 2 on RXT. Your ride isnt a bit stiff? I heard 6112 compressing the springs to the 2" setting will make daily driving over little bumps a bit rough.

I’ll have to measure again. I recently changed to option 3. I like to maintain rake when loaded. Option 2 was great but I plan on adding a few things so I bumped it up. As far as the 6112’s. Ride quality is very subjective. For me I love my set up. Wouldn’t changed a thing. I’m running 255’s pizza cutter , I run about 34psi my commute is super short I’m stoked no complaints.

Would option 3 be too stiff for daily driving if I only have under 200 pounds in the bed? I am mostly wanting option 3 for the extra inch of lift since I want to maintain some rake with 3" lift up front when loaded. Currently on option 1 but my front is slightly higher than the rear so I'm thinking maybe jump straight to option 3 because the bed sags more when loaded. The bed does get loaded up to 400+ pounds on the weekends (5 mountain bikes + gear and tools) however I just hope option 3 won't be too stiff driving around town without much load. I guess if I want the springs stiffer for weekend bike shuttling I will have to suffer during the week when it's not loaded. :notsure:

For me I don’t think so. I’m on stage 3 with a constant 180/190 lbs.

Option 3 won’t be stiff at all. 3 inches up front I’d be worried about cv angles

Glad to hear, sounds like stage 3 will be the choice for me!

Not too concerned about CV, they'll go when they go it's a wear and tear part as I've had to replace them on both of my previous Tacomas. I will be replacing with RCV Ultimate IFS CV axles, way stronger than stock and lifetime warranty.

Here's how they currently sit with 3 inches up front (6112's max setting with 1/2" spacer).
