    You will
Definitely have rake when loaded it’s awesome. Exactly why I went with option 3. Never liked the level look. Plus off-roading these hoods are hard to see over.

i believe 3 stage will work for you with all this load. be careful when assembling - check video - rectangular thin metal washers are trying to run away.

Ha yeah man I amped to get some bump back there again.

I just watched a how-to on that and it looks like it's gonna be a frustrating experience for sure well see how many rounds the fight will carry.

i did in 20 minutes per side. just use 2 screwdrivers - and put em inside the hole from opposite directions. you will be fine.

I’d go straight to option 3. I’m on option 2 and when I load up to go camping with a few hundred pounds or when my dirt bike is on the hitch I sag a fair bit.

Thanks man, I'm convinced 3 is gonna be the way to go. Now just to find the time to do it.

I have option 2 and when fully loaded for adventure which is a bed load of: bed drawers, fridge w/slide out, 4 gallons of water, recovery gear, and 200lbs of bicycles/gear my truck sits level (I would guess around 650lbs of total extra weight in the bed and cab)
Unloaded I sit at about a +1.5" rake and that is with a 1" front lift. My truck has constant weight of steel front/rear bumpers, aluminum engine/trans skids, aluminum sliders, roof rack, and about 150lbs of gear in the cab.

If I had a hard topper I definitely would have installed option 3, though I think with option 3 you might need longer brake lines. On option 2 there isn't much slack left in the lines at full droop.

Nothing really, just the softopper and bedmat so maybe 80 pounds? The RXTs are paired with eibach shocks, and 5100s with OME 887s up front and it rides great. My wife even mentioned how much better the truck feels now.

I was told I didn’t need brake lines for option three. But reading yours I def think I’m going to need option three and I’m hoping it’s even enough for me. I’ve got drawers, camper and etc in the rear. Maybe I’ll snag some extended brake lines just in case before install next week

From what I understand, and my knowledge is limited, its going to depend on your rear shock set up. If isn't going to break the bank probably worth picking some up, worst case you've got room to droooop.

On mine when I installed the leaf pack with no shock in place, so at maximum sag from just the leaf pack there was still slack in the brake lines. My logic was I didn't want to rely on the shock as a limiting strap to stop the axle movement. Though if you don't off road hard it will probably never be an issue.

What’s everyone’s favorite extended brake lines? I’m going to order some just to be safe

I’ve owned the icon rxt after my last truck had deavers, i wanted to save money but the old adage buy once cry once rings true. The deavers were noticeably better than the icons

About 99% all the people in this thread are going to agree with you.Yes, but this thread is not about what is the best. That specific statement is just like saying " i used to own a hummer h1 and that was far more capable off road than the tacoma is, so buy once cry once"

As much as the deaver leafs far superior of a leaf for your tacoma, they are made by a company that only does leaf springs. If that is all that they sell, they better get it right, and they do, that's all that they Make and they are extremely good at it. But in saying that, the deaver is not modular. with Deaver, You purchase either the stage one, stage two, or stage three, depending upon your weight necessities. But those necessities may change over time Resulting in you needing to purchase a different Leaf pack regarding those changes in your necessities. The Icon RXT'S are fully modular.

Now also in saying that, the old way of thinking a number of years ago was to just go ahead and buy a Dakar leaf pack whether You go with the medium or the heavy Due to them not being a block lift and Due to it being more economical for a person's first lift. Take it from a person that has owned both mediums and heavy's and they are a complete waste of money. The ride is not only in extremely poor quality, .......they squeak, they would rust extremely easily, and once again, they are not fully modular ( other than having the ability to add an overleaf).

The Icon RXT'S are a perfect blend of the three bears story. They are perfectly right in the middle, and they are just right. They give a very good ride, they are modular, you don't have to spend Thousands of dollars for them, they provide a good lift, they have good flex, And they can be very reasonably priced especially when Sales happen. I think I purchased mine when they were on sale directly through icon and I purchased them with free shipping for $600 for the two of them.
