    Nothing crazy!
Would like to know as well how the liners were placed.

I left the round plastic spacers and brass shims in. I cut the liners just short of the plastic spacers. Probably got 0.4 in. of lift from the liners (1/16" x 7 leafs) heh.

Hm ok. By leaving the plastic spacers in contact with the leaves, does that not partially defeat the purpose of the liners? Or am I misunderstanding their application as a means of full contact vs preventing debris from lodging itself between leaves?

Dirt will get in regardless. However, with the liners in place, there's no contact between leafs, so no noise.

I installed icon leafs last week. Stage 3. I have wheelers off road u bolt flip kit with super bumps. At ride height I have about an 1 3/4 inches before bump contact. Truck isn’t loaded down yet just at normal weight. Can anybody running stage 3 and super bumps check how much clearance they have?

Maybe I'm missing something, but you only have two leaves there. Stage 3 uses all leaves, I believe.

I was cycling suspension while setting up and welding new shock mounts on.

But if you don't have all the leaves on, won't that mean it's not an accurate representation of your actual end result? In the second pic, your leaf is inverted, I'm guessing because it's alone and unafraid supporting a lot of weight.

I think that round spacer cylinder thing he has in there is probably supposed to represent the rest of the leaf pack. If the length of that thing is right, the end result should be the same travel-wise, it will just take a lot more force to reach that level of compression.

Yeah, that adds up. I'm still confused as to the setup.

The set up was just to test full compression of the suspension before welding on the shock tabs to the axle housing. The spacer was to simulate the full thickness of the spring pack. I don’t know of any other way to set up a leaf sprung suspension to test travel and make sure the shocks aren’t going to bottom out.

Gotcha. Only idea I have would be use the full setup and load the bed up. Pile some friends in there.

I got the liners one one of the packs. It wasn't terrible but definitely annoying trying to reassemble when the liners want to curl up. Had my wife help me when it came to the last two leaves. Was feeling pretty proud of myself when I went to compress. That thing squeaks more than...something that squeaks a lot. I noticed I had the 3rd from top leaf flipped the wrong way so that might be part of it. I'll try to correct tomorrow. But I have a feeling it's gonna still squeak. Is this something that happens until the leaves get nicely broken in? I haven't touched the other pack but compressed it and that doesn't squeak at all.

I had time today to get the truck lifted and unloaded the springs. Tried all other methods (cleaning/lubing) but suspecting installer had over torqued things while suspension was suspended. Backed off the bolts to all mounting points (front shackle, rear shackle, hanger and the top shock mount). Lowered to let things settled and give a few good bounce and retorqued everything down. 2 days now and not a peep. Not sure if this has solved things for me but we'll see.

Anyone run a shackle flip with their rxts? Would like another inch or 2 of lift in the rear and would appreciate some insight/ experience with that combo.

Do I have to completely remove my leaf spring to swap to option 2? Or can the install be done with leafs mounted?

in have bamf hangers and it was a SOB to install these..

The icon springs ride great compared to my old set up. Stage three.
