You’re planning on running Option 3 with an empty bed to achieve strictly lift? If so, that may be a hella stiff ride. Your AAL is more or less equivalent to RXT on Option 1 in terms of height gained. Idk if anyone has installed Option 3 with a constantly empty bed

With option 3, how many leaf's are there? Can someone post a pic of option 3, I wanna make sure my installer actually installed it correctly.

Yes, I've gone overboard on weight. Didn't anticipate this, but to the RXT's credit - they are only rated for 600, and they have done a fantastic job holding way over it.

No. I'm just going by worst case scenario (my truck being empty) trying to determine how much clearance I have to get into my garage with a RTT installed. With the RTT on and the way my truck stands now I should clear by 3/4"

Fully loaded with what I have now when I hit dips I hit the bump stops

Are you guys having issues with the leafs squeaking? My driver side leaf squeaks an ungodly amount now, worse than the OEM leafs. I have had mine installed about 5k miles now and don't know what to do. was going to take them off, separate, and install back, but any products I can use between the leafs to prevent these squeaks, or at least try to reduce some of the noise?

I’ve had good luck with separating, cleaning, and reassembling with a dry lube on each leaf. WD40 makes a nice spray on one. That was with Dakar’s but same difference. I haven’t had any issues with my RXT squeaking.

I'll give that a try for sure. For not having many miles on them with only one side squeaking, not sure what is going on. Was going to do that as a project hopefully soon once work doesn't get in the way. Thanks!

Pretty dumb question, but do you install these the entire length of each spring leaf, or only at certain sections? Just want to make sure I purchase enough. I’m open to any options along with the dry lube as well.

Entire length (poke a hole through each piece for the leaf pack center pin). You'll use just under one roll for each leaf pack, so order two rolls. Beware it adds about 0.4" (7x 1/16") to the pack height and hence to the amount of rear lift.

You know...your way is smarter. I hadn't thought of that. I made the lengths to span from pad to pad but it was a nuisance to keep the liners secured during assembly. Your method removes that problem. I'll do that when it comes time to rebuild them.

If I had to guess, it shouldn't be that significant as far as noise mitigation goes but as I said, it'll certainly make assembly easier.

I bought 3 rolls just in case. Only needed about 1.8.

    No kidding haha

You've already gotten like 5 different answers, but Ill throw another into the mix :D
I do a big scoop of grease between each leaf on the pad front and back (applied with a suspension under full droop and a big flat blade screwdriver). That seems to have worked well so far and seems to last pretty long as well.

Thank you all for the help with this. Wanted to make sure that I order enough product and you confirmed my thought of needing two. Thanks!

600 is an easy day for these. No problem, I’m actually surprised how well they do cause I’m over 400 pounds.
