So I'm about to throw these springs on my 3rd gen. I have the factory trd lift kit that lifts the front 2" and the rear 1" with a block. I'll be removing the block when the leaf pack goes in. Would option 3 be too much of a lift and cause any driveline issues? Camping load is usually around 150lbs but I also put a motorcycle on a hitch mounted carrier once in a while that weighs about 400lbs total.

    Option 1or2
3 might b too high and stiff
I’m on option 1 with no diff drop or axle shims and have no vibrations.

He said that it was a pain in the dick. Hahaha!

@ 150lbs option 1 is fine. I’d go option two so you’re still good with the bike

That's option 2? If so is looks perfect! I put all the leaves in for option 3 but I think option 2 is a better choice. It's in option 2 config now. Hoping to get them on in the morning tomorrow for a camping that we'll be heading out for tomorrow afternoon.

Yes that’s option 2. I have about 1.5 inches of lift in front and I replaced the rear bump stops with sumosprings. I cut them down about an inch shorter so they only engage when I tow

Just got my RXT leaf pack installed last week. This is on option one, with Bilstein 5160’s in the rear. So far, very happy with the ride quality.

Installed option 2 on my tacoma that came with the trd lift kit. Removed the 1 inch spacer that was on there.

After driving up to lone pine and through Alabama hills from Los angeles. Settled a bit already and I think it looks good.

Looking for advice on my planned install. Currently, I’m running Eibach lift, front on the middle notch. The rears I have a Headstrong 1.5” 3 leaf AAL. The first time I installed my lift, the front was too high so I added my over load leaf. That seemed to fix the issue but that was before the weight gain. Front steel bumper w winch, rock sliders, roof rack, camper shell (off road gear and tools) and rear steel bumper. Surprise surprise, my rear is sagging again.

I plan on going option 3 with the RXT leaf, but is there a general consensus on shims? I did add 2.5” shims after the carrier bearing drop didn’t resolve the vibration. Also, my front was leveled with a 1/4 spacer but I had taco lean in the rear. Is that the case here too? Thinking about adding the 1/2” block on the drivers side to compensate. I’ll be doing the work in my driveway and prefer not to do it multiple times if I can help it. Thanks!
