Okay. I saw you mention heavy setup as well above. Do you have a bunch of static weight in the bed? That rear end will settle down after a little bit of time for sure. Especially if you're carrying weight all of the time.

Knowing that, I probably would have put it on option 3 myself. I say just let 'er roll for a little bit. You'll be surprised at how much that settles in.

For me, probably 4 hours since I work slow. I'm sure people can get it done in less than half that time. The spring that would have to be added/removed is in the middle of the pack so you would have to get a lot of the stuff disassembled each time you swap between settings.

I agree I did it this weekend and dropped from
Option 2 to opt 1…took about 4 hours. I cleaned the leafs. That took longer.

Im not armored up, option 2 was bouncy, option 1 my truck sits almost level. Little bit of rake. Like the ride, in and off road.

Got my lift kit installed last week with the leaf pack, I went with option 2 because I have an RSI Smart cap (198lbs) and their stow table which I'm guessing is another 20lbs or so including the mounting hardware. I ended up with 2 1/4'' lift in the rear when I expected just under 2''. I have noticed that the rear end is a little stiff and when I come to a stop there is a subtle but noticeable bounce in the rear end. It doesn't bother me so I don't expect to change it up at all but that's where everything currently sits.

What is the rest of your suspension situation? Any noises associated with it, or just a little bit of rise in the rear end on spirited braking?

Anyone running option 3? I'm running full aluminum skids, sliders, Leitner bed rack, RTT etc. and will definitely be looking at option 3.

I went with Toytec Aluma 2.0 series shocks and 2.0 coilovers. No noises, and the rise/bounce isn't just with spirited/aggressive braking. Even a slow gradual stop ends with a subtle bounce.

Had mine on for a couple weeks now with Option 2. Not sure if I want to go to option 3. Sits about level with just the bike so when I add camping gear and firewood, etc it might sag but when empty it might be too high in back. I could probably leave my camping gear back there permanently.20211119_071153.jpg

I'm getting the stage 8 system and was planning on option 2 in the back but i was hoping for around 1-1.5" of rake (front coilovers at factor height setting, weight of snugtop canopy in back. How much did it settle since install?

My RXT pack squeaks really bad. More on the driver side from what I can tell. Drives me insane.

Here is Option 3 with my front coils at about a 2" lift. When the tent is on I sit level, fully loaded camping trip with about 15 gallons of water, and gear in the back I sag just a tiny bit. Plus bike and bike rack.

When I tow my small trailer (15ft) without the tent on top I sit level.

Serious? That's not common for RXTs... Have you heard of the bicycle inner tube method of quieting them down? I've done it on multiple leaf packs with 100% success!

Looks good! Did you have any vibration issues or need extended brake lines?

I didn't measure anything before or after but here are pics I posted previously:

Same day, drove 200-300 miles with about 200lbs of gear in the bed and me and my girlfriend up front which is about 300lbs:
    20211106_111010.jpg
About 3 weeks later (yesterday) I picked up some wood and was hauling my motorcycle around. About 400lbs for the motorcycle and carrier and I have no idea how much that wood weighs. It felt damp. If you have an idea let me know:

Forgot to mention in my previous post but I have the factory trd lift kit in front which is supposed to provide a 2 inch lift. Do you guys think the placement of the wood towards the rear of the bed make the truck sag even more versus placing the wood towards the cab? I feel like it would distribute the force a little better and involve the front suspension. Having the bike out back like that is probably making it worse than if I could have the bike in the bed. What do you folks think?

IMO when I load my truck DCLB I place heaviest weight towards cab like you said. Definitely distributes weight better
