100lbs wont even phase the RXT pack. I'd keep it at op 1. I've had a few hundred lbs back there and it barely even brought it down. Also got more lift than advertised at Option 1 (installed in November) and it's still higher than advertised.

This is what I needed to hear.

I don’t have the factory spare, but will be throwing a 34” tire/wheel back there from time to time.

I have a Swingcase with about 30lbs of recovery gear on the passenger side.

I have an aftermarket bumper that is about 20lbs heavier than stock.

So maybe about 100lbs over stock occasionally, and more like 50lbs most of the time. Going option 1 to get her SMOOTH

Should be nice. I have my 285 under the truck + the OE bed pad (so + 35lbs maybe?) and still ~2.1" of lift back there when it was advertised at 1.85" without weight (which I'm not super happy about - that was already higher than I really wanted it). I have heard it takes a few months to settle but damn. It has at least finally started breaking in because it is noticeably softer than it was originally. Going to wait to see if it breaks in any more over the next few months or if I need to send my shocks back again for a second revalve. This pack flexes fantastically but feels like it rebounds way too fast. Not sure if it's the pack or shocks though - probably the shocks but still going to hold out a bit and see what happens. Only have about 900 miles + 1 wheeling trip on the setup so far as the truck isn't the daily.

Isn’t that neat? Icon even specifies in inches, lift over stock measurements so you don’t need to ask joe schmo to measure his hub to fender!

you ask a question that has been discussed repeatedly!!! For the love of God, Icon makes this retard proof with their chart and installation instructions. How hard is it?

Don’t be a cock to others then report it. It’s getting rather old. It sure is a lot easier to just say nothing or actually contribute to the community.

People ask because the results are all over the place. Stock trucks measure different right off the lot, so Icons numbers aren't set in stone. Just look up about 10 posts and you'll see one of many examples. I'll be installing some in the next month or so, and I'll report back with hub to fender measurements.

well, if there are so many variables, how is someone taking a measurement of their rigs more accurate than what Icon has compiled based on all their data?

Removing the OEM leaf variance from the equation. Finding a guy that has the same body truck, similar weight, and the rxts set at the same option. I'd think you could get pretty close, depending on if there's any variance in the icon springs.

I ordered a 6112/5160 Bilstein lift w an Icon 1.5 add a leaf. I have an ARE truck cap and I tow a 20ft bass boat on the weekend. The cap is heavy but the bed is rarely loaded down. I should opt for the RXT leaf pack right? From reading seems like the right move.

I’m at about 1,500 miles on my RXTs at option 2 and have been super happy with them so far. Definitely lifted a bit more than I expected with the constant weight I have in the bed, about 330ish pounds, but it seems to have settled into a nice height.

5100/885 w/ 1/4 lean spacer, Icon RXT w/ B110’s, 255/80/17 FWP, AP Apex Sliders, KDMax 87, ADD W1, BD mirror riser
I’d go with RXT leaf pack in option 2

Waiting on my front suspension coming next weekend. Would it be okay to install some 5160s in the rear and my icon RXT (option 2) at static bed weight of 150lbs without front lift installed for a week?

I've been looking at these as well. Between the Leer shell, Truckvault, and the flatbed trailer I pull quite a bit, I think opt. 2 is the way to go for my specific uses. Just have to suck it up and spend the money.

Factory spring packs are pretty much flat (no arch).
