I had a suspension shop order and do the install. Here's what came taped to the leaf's they removed for option 2...

Cool, thanks. Also aside from the new ubolt kit, assuming I cant reuse my stock ones off a 2022? Thats all i would need for install? Im using 5160's with these and was wondering if I could benefit from new bump stops? I read a little bit in this thread about the ubolt flip kit... what are the benefits of those? thx again

Im thinking the bolts might be taped in there still, as I havent taken the packaging off. I only noticed the extra brackets. Like the freakybone said, maybe they'll come later. I forgot to order the ubolt kit and dont have my rear shocks yet so they can for sure wait.

I'd get new u bolts... they're 8" and at option 2 i cut around a 1/2" off them. I went with new bump stops and extended brake lines... have extended travel front/rear shocks.

Made this bracket to secure the brake cable... you might be able to reuse the oem one.

Just notice between the pics you said you made the bracket. Looks good!

Is that clip and clip bolt supposed to be used for adding the extra leaf for option 2&3? I have the exact same parts left over from my option 1 install.

I’m about 1,000 miles into my suspension overhaul. Fox 2.5’s, new oe lca, JD Fab uca, Icon Rxt leafs and superbumps. Overall happy with how everything turned out, no more squeaks and creaks. But, I have no weight in the bed and the Rxt’s on option 1 are pretty harsh…worse than oe w/ single aal. Do these break in at all and soften up? I’ve read so many reviews on how great they ride so I’m a little disappointed

Might want to call to verify bump stop fit but i'd say they more than likely will. I've got a SnugTop with around 50lbs of gear. At option 2 (mines a 2nd gen) it raised the back around 2 1/4"... 7 months later it's settled to around 2". My center hub to fender is now 24"... front is 22".

The extra parts (brackets/ center pins/plates) are for option 3.
Option 1 and 2 use the same hardware (leaf pack total doesn't change) You need to change out the hardware at option 3 (thicker leaf pack now.)

edit: not exactly sure where the plates get installed... i assume with the hole in them they have something to do with the center pin??

The 2 metal plates go on top of the extra leaf when going up to option #3 then the 1st and 2nd leaf go on top of it. What I'm trying to figure out is which of the 3 clips are replaced when doing so? I'm assuming it's the one in the middle since that one holds the most leaf springs.

Yours looks real good, how much weight do you have in the bed? I'm on opt #1 and about to go #3 due to increase bed weight up to about 400lb.

6112 up front at max height, 5160 in the rear with option #1 but keep in mind I have about 250lb bed weight in this photo. Will update with new photo once I go option #3 since I'll be throwing on a RTT + DiadmondBack HD cover on it soon, I will have around 400-450 lb bed weight then.

Upon install I had the passenger side not torquing down to spec on the upper shackle bolt. The driver side went just fine. Not sure what the issue is and noticed the bolt sticks out past the nut about a 1/4 inch past the nut on the pass side. Would not torque and I should've stoped tightening right away... Both sides measured the same after a 10 mile drive. Almost 2" lift. Getting the 5160's tomorrow from UPS... My trucks not my dd and was planning on checking out the issue tomorrow since its my day off... wondering if maybe there wasn't the metal bushing leaf installed from factory on the rxt pack? or not sure what I could've done wrong. So after about 20 miles while parking it tonight I notices the pass side was lower, measured and yup its about 2" lower then the driver side. Could it be the 4130's? I did haul ass over some speed bumps and it made a loud clunk while on the packs maiden voyage around town. But the shock looks fine... No odd sounds over big dips or slow over speed bump either... Anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Just installed option 3 yesterday, super easy job until you have to wrestle them into place lol. Has anyone got any input on how much these settle initially? I've got 2.5 inches of lift up front and about 400lbs static weight in the rear without camping gear. Thought option 3 would be a no-brainer but holy rake... the rear is up there.

On option 3 you change out the aft most clip...

1B47CE85-4E02-4107-9222-A0672CED20CE.jpg So after installing my 5160s with my leaf pack at option one my passenger side is still about a quarter inch lower. Also the upper Shacklebolt Protrudes a half inch and won’t torque down… I talked to Icon and they said they had no clue what it can be and they were baffled but I sent them some pics and waiting to hear back… also the passenger side feels a little bit more squishy when driving around turns. I’m about to Exchange the leaf pack… Has anyone heard of or gotten a bad leaf pack before?

I don't have any advice to offer other than that I just installed my leafs last week and had no problems at all and can confirm something is not normal with yours.

I just got mine installed. Option 2. Lifted 3" from where it was with the original springs but probably closer to 2" over stock given the old leaf springs were sagging a bit. Amazing how much different it looks/rides. I went with 5100/5125 (longer 5100) as well. Rides really nice on my trip home. I'll have a chance for a more thorough test ride soon.

Yeah idk, my only guess is that they installed a smaller sleeve, the one that goes on the bottom in the upper bushing... I just requested an exchange from shock surplus and let em know thats what it looks like. It kinda does from the pic... havent heard back from icon after they asked me to send them the pics...

Stage 3 nice and settled, only about 300lbs of weight in this pic. I installed them by myself in a day, and I'm not smart :anonymous: Just made an 800-mile road trip pulling a full (small) enclosed trailer and the rig fully loaded with all my gear... It barely budged under all that weight. Definitely curious to see if they remain that way as they age.

Here's mine with option 2 and 5100s on notch 5. Maybe not the best pic for the front :p
