Thanks! I have the same truck :) That shell is 275 lbs?! Looks 200 at best…

    How’s the ride?

The shell is 200 and the wood platform in the bed is 75. Rides great, not harsh at all. Really happy with the leaf pack compared to the 3 leaf add-a-leaf on my last taco. It’s much more composed and doesn’t wallow with weight.

I must be the odd man out... I'm on option 1 and the rear rides a bit firm for my liking. It could be that I have the front set up to be very soft and the rear is not matched up equally. Very noticeable going over train tracks and similar.

What do you have in the bed? From your pic it looks like just a soft-topper. I wouldn't go option 2 or more than an AAL unless you're adding constant weight to the back. Also how long have you had it? When I first got the lift and leafs my truck was pretty jarring until everything seemed to settle.

About to pull the trigger on these as part of a full suspension overhaul. Anyone seen these on sale anywhere significantly lower than other retailers?

I’ve got tons of Amazon credit that can be used up but if it’s significantly less elsewhere I’ll gladly support a company that’s focused on off-roading/automotive aftermarket

I bought mine directly from Icon for 15% off. Not sure if the sale is still going on or you may be able to give you email for a 10% off

I've tossed my name in the ring before for ya, but we have some here at Hotshot Offroad. We can get them to you for $630 shipped. That includes shipping, and we do not collect taxes either. Got a few on the shelf too so you won't have to wait.

This is a great price. I recently bought these for just over $700 from 4 Wheel Parts. That was the best deal I was able to find since I was able to pick them up vs paying extra for shipping.

I mentioned that a few pages back, option 1 with almost no constant weight. It’s too stiff, even after a few thousand miles of break in. Plan on adding a softopper and will probably put some weight in the bed somehow lol. Rides much better with just like 100lbs back there.

I have the softopper which weighs next to nothing, a platform I built from thick plywood, and hi-lift. Probably 100 lb. constant load. Had the leafs installed for about a year (10,000 miles) now.

@AugustaTaco this aligns with what you're saying as well.

Maybe, somehow, option 2 is a better ride than option 1? Even with an empty bed? So far I'm liking option 2 (only 20 miles in) with a hard shell and empty bed.

I installed mine about 1000 miles ago. Option 1 got me about 3/4” higher than stock height. I have about 600lbs constant load and no lift. I assumed they would settle a bit and be really close to stock height. The past 600 miles or so had about 800 lbs in the back during a camping trip with the family. It was pretty evenly distributed in the bed. Currently my passenger side is almost 2 inches higher then drivers side with 1/4 tank of gas. Any thoughts as to why it would settled so odd? Should I just swap sides and let the gas settle it out? Any other thoughts or ideas? I read about a missing bushing in some packs, could that be the difference? I sent a note to icon for help, but may reach out to wheelers off-road to see what the deal is.

Can you attach a pic? How obvious is it from behind? Just a full on lean?

Ugh, sorry to hear. What an odd settle. And you’re sure it wasn’t like that after the install? All I can think is that you left a leaf out on the one side or something…

I have pre and post measurements. I went to get settled measurements after a camping trip and once I unloaded everything I though I had a flat tire. The lean is pretty significant. I measured to make sure it was not sitting in a bigger sloe than I thought and the difference is a hair under 2 inches
